Brown & Crouppen Reaches 15-Year Milestone at Sista Strut St. Louis Breast Cancer Walk

Brown & Crouppen Marks 15 Years of Sista Strut St. Louis at the 17th Annual Walk
Founding partner Terry Crouppen spoke from the main stage on October 3, where 16 employees walked alongside family members and friends.
ST. LOUIS, Mo., October 6, 2026 - Brown & Crouppen sponsored the 17th Annual Sista Strut St. Louis on Saturday, October 3, marking the firm's 15th consecutive year supporting the breast cancer awareness walk through downtown St. Louis.
Sista Strut St. Louis is produced by Hallelujah 1600, an iHeartMedia station, as part of a national campaign that iHeartMedia describes as raising awareness of breast cancer among women of color. The 3K walk began at North 15th and Chestnut streets at 9 a.m. Proceeds benefit The Breakfast Club Inc., The Pink Angels Foundation, Siteman Cancer Center, The Mercy Breast Cancer Center, and SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital.
Founding partner Terry Crouppen addressed attendees from the main stage prior to the walk. Sixteen Brown & Crouppen employees participated, with many walking alongside family members and friends who have been affected by breast cancer. The firm also distributed its hot pink beanies at the event, returning the item for the first time in three years.
"A lot of the people out there on Saturday were walking for someone. Some of them were walking for themselves," said Terry Crouppen, Founding Partner of Brown & Crouppen. "We've been part of Sista Strut for more than a decade because this is a community we care deeply about. Showing up once matters, but continuing to show up year after year is what makes that commitment meaningful."
