Mountain Ready Adds SLNT Faraday Bags for Phone, Laptop, Key Fob and EMP Protection

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
South Carolina, November 2026 — Mountain Ready (MountainReady.online) has added SLNT as a direct brand partner, bringing 30 SLNT Faraday bags, sleeves, packs and wallets to its lineup. SLNT builds bags around its patented Silent Pocket Faraday cage, so a phone, laptop, key fob or power bank inside is cut off from wireless signals until the owner chooses to reconnect.
Interest in signal-blocking gear has grown alongside home preparedness. Some shoppers want a phone that cannot be tracked or reached for a few hours; others want spare electronics stored where an electromagnetic pulse or a severe solar storm cannot reach them; and many car owners now keep keyless-entry fobs in a shielded pouch to stop relay theft.
The SLNT lineup at Mountain Ready
- Faraday Phone Sleeve, Tablet Sleeve and Laptop Sleeve: everyday sleeves that take devices offline without switching them off.
- Faraday Key Fob Bag: a compact pouch for keyless-entry fobs and spare keys.
- Waterproof Faraday Phone Bag, Faraday Dry Bags and the Waterproof Faraday Backpack 20L and Duffel 40L: roll-top bags that keep electronics dry as well as shielded.
- EMP Faraday Bag and Solar Panel EMP Faraday Bag: larger roll-down bags for storing power banks, portable power stations and folding solar panels.
- E3 Faraday Backpack, slings, crossbody organizers and RFID-blocking wallets for daily carry.
According to SLNT, its Faraday cage blocks cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, RFID and NFC signals. SLNT states that the Multishield material in its EMP bags is MIL-STD-188-125-2 compliant, exceeds IEEE 299-2006, and provides 100 dB+ of signal attenuation, and that its Waterproof Faraday Phone Bag and Waterproof Faraday Backpack 20L are submersible for up to 30 minutes at depths of up to 10 feet.
"A Faraday bag is one of the simplest pieces of preparedness gear there is: you put something in, roll the top, and it is protected," said Peter Zeppieri, founder of Mountain Ready. "SLNT makes bags people actually carry every day, and the same technology scales up to a bag that holds a power station or a solar panel. Carrying the line direct means our customers can find the right size for what they need to protect."
SLNT bags also appear in Mountain Ready's new guide to preparing for a cyberattack or grid outage.
